After the big success of last year, the scarecrow contest is back again this year. All the rules are still the same, but to get the full details and rules click here

Thats right, the farm fair has started a group on facebook. We will be posting updates, news and other fun things on there during the year. While you can find alot of information about the fair on here, on facebook you will be able to talk directly to other members who also love the fair and discuss your favorite things about the fair.

2010 Parking Pass

BACK AGAIN FOR 2010: You can purchase a four day parking pass for $15.00 (NO OTHER DISCOUNT OFFERS CAN BE TAKEN ON THIS PASS) that is valid all four days of the farm fair. You can order these passes through the mail, or beginning July 1st they can be purchases at the Burlington County Farm Fair office at the Lumberton Green between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

RECYCLING CONTEST

BUILD A SCARECROW

Sponsored by the Burlington County Farm Fair

FAIR DATES:   JULY 21 - 24, 2010

 

GENERAL RULES:

 

  1. Scarecrow may be a group, club, family or individual project.
  2. Scarecrow must be no shorter than 4 feet, no taller than 6 feet.
  3. Scarecrow must be constructed from all recyclable materials.
  4. Scarecrow must be freestanding, propped up or hanging for display during the entire four days of the Fair.
  5. Scarecrow must have name of participating group plainly displayed for the judges.
  6. Entries will be accepted on Monday, July 19th from 10:00 a.m. till 8:00 p.m.
  7. Scarecrows should be picked up on Sunday, July 25 from 10:00 a.m. till 6:00 p.m.
  8. Judges will consider age of participants, creativity in use of recyclable items, neatness, and eye appeal.  The decision of the judges is final.
